Responsibilities

Lead firmwide event strategy aligned to advisor engagement, partner relationships, and brand differentiation
Define clear business cases for major events, including purpose, investment rationale, and desired outcomes
Partner with senior leaders to align event priorities with organizational goals, initiatives, and audience needs
Design event strategies that support advisors, partners, and internal stakeholders operating within financial services and FinTech environments
Evaluate event performance using engagement metrics, partner value, brand impact, and longer-term business outcomes
Provide data-informed recommendations on where to invest, refine, or simplify the event portfolio
Serve as the primary owner of the event portfolio to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across audiences and business lines
Establish strong project management practices that bring clarity, structure, and momentum to complex event initiatives
Apply exceptional attention to detail and a guest- and audience-first mindset across planning and delivery
Anticipate challenges early and guide teams toward practical, timely solutions
Maintain high execution standards while adapting to evolving business needs
Shape the vision for event agendas, content flow, speaker strategy, and end-to-end attendee experience in support of defined business goals
Ensure consistent storytelling, brand alignment, and experience quality across all events and audience touchpoints
Collaborate with marketing partners on event communications, branding, and engagement strategies
Build and lead a collaborative events team grounded in trust, accountability, and pride in execution
Establish clear roles, expectations, and operating rhythms that enable strong performance
Coach and support team members as they develop skills and strategic perspective
Assess team structure, capabilities, and external support as business needs evolve
Foster a culture that values rigor, collaboration, and follow-through
Build trusted partnerships with vendors, agencies, and production partners who meet organizational standards
Own event budgets, financial planning, and vendor agreements with sound judgment and fiscal discipline
Make thoughtful decisions regarding resourcing, production approaches, and experience design to support efficient execution
Scale internal and external resources as needed while protecting quality, budget discipline, and team capacity
Provide onsite leadership during major events
Partner with strategic stakeholders to design sponsor experiences that are well-integrated and aligned with partner objectives
Ensure sponsors are supported consistently and confidently across the event portfolio
Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required, or equivalent experience required
Minimum of ten years of leadership experience in event management within a corporate or B2B environment required
Demonstrated success using events as a strategic business lever within financial services, FinTech, or similarly complex B2B environments required
Strong executive presence with a collaborative, approachable leadership style required
Excellent project management, organizational, and follow-through skills required
Financial fluency, including budget ownership and vendor negotiation experience required
Ability to move seamlessly between strategic planning and hands-on execution required
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment required
Willingness to travel as business needs require

Preferred

Minimum of twelve years of experience designing and leading large-scale, complex event programs preferred
