Responsibilities
Own day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including GAAP-compliant close, reporting, and cash management
Maintain clean, audit-ready financials that can support institutional investor diligence
Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and board materials in support of Series A fundraising
Partner closely with the CEO on budgeting, cash runway planning, and strategic financial decisions
Manage revenue recognition, internal controls, and financial systems as the business scales
Qualification
Required
5–8+ years of experience in accounting, FP&A, or controllership roles, ideally in a venture-backed or high-growth environment
Strong GAAP and close-process experience with the ability to operate independently
Prior exposure to venture fundraising (Seed, Series A, or Series B) in a supporting or analytical role
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and cash management skills
Startup mindset. Comfortable wearing multiple hats and building processes from scratch
