Community Health Systems is seeking a Systems Administrator to support, maintain, and administer enterprise systems and infrastructure. Responsibilities

Supports and maintains enterprise systems, servers, applications, and related infrastructure
Responds to hardware, software, and network incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution
Performs system monitoring, maintenance, and patching to ensure optimal performance and compliance
Maintains accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions
Participates in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours technical support as needed
Promotes system security, user access controls, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
Collaborates with IT teams and business stakeholders to evaluate and implement technical solutions
Assists in the deployment and configuration of new systems and upgrades to existing infrastructure
Follows change management protocols and participates in testing and validation processes
Identifies and shares best practices with peers and supports continuous improvement initiatives
Performs other duties as assigned
Maintains regular and reliable attendance
Complies with all policies and standards

Required

H.S. Diploma or GED required
2-4 years of experience in systems administration required
Proficiency with Windows and/or Linux server administration
Strong understanding of system security, backup, and recovery procedures
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and documentation skills

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
Experience supporting a mid to large-size enterprise environment preferred
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking concepts
Relevant certification in systems administration, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Server+, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) preferred
Security or access management certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Security certification preferred
