Responsibilities
Learn, use, and maintain CRM system and communicate effectively with sales team
Notify senior management of all commercial bid solicitations and coordinate bid pricing accurately (sometimes with other internal departments) to ensure successful fulfillment of contracts and maintain successful relationships with the Solicitor
Process other incoming bids from our existing Broker and Sales Team network as they come in accurately and as stated in the Quarterly price list
Field customer calls, answering basic questions and forwarding Sales Leads to the appropriate parties as needed
Assist in Sales & Marketing activities as may be required for sample requests, travel/meeting accommodations, and point of sales needs. Support the Sales Team with custom/complex customer order entry & follow through
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred; and 3 years related work experience in an administrative position
Basic analytical and math skills, e.g., able to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, ERP, Silvon & Global Search, and CRM experience a plus
Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently, time management, task prioritization, and multi-task effectively
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, Math, and Microsoft Excel proficiency assessment, and to work extended schedule during the fresh pack season, typically July to early October
