Responsibilities

Prepare journal entries
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Perform fluctuation research of Financial Statements for our Student Resources Operating Unit
Create/update membership schedules, calculating/recording reserves and communicating expected membership changes to management
Maintain/enhance processes to ensure accuracy and minimize risk to financial statement reporting while reconciling, analyzing and reviewing financial transactions in preparation of month end close
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
Develop/maintain internal control processes and standard operating procedures for all assigned tasks
Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits

Qualification

Accounting degreeExperience in AccountingGAAP knowledgeExcel proficiencyAttention to detailDecision making skills

Required

Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
Experience in Accounting/Finance
Moderate level of proficiency in Excel
Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Possess attention to detail and good decision making skills
