Responsibilities
Establish, document, and maintain quality requirements and specifications for raw materials used in production
Define and maintain critical process control parameters for supplier manufacturing processes in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors
Qualify new raw materials and suppliers through audits, data review, testing, and on-site evaluations
Lead material-related investigations, including root cause analysis and supplier corrective action follow-up
Use statistical methods to analyze material performance, process capability, and risk
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions and process changes
Ensure raw material supply strategies align with global business and manufacturing objectives
Drive continuous improvement initiatives with a strong bias for action and results
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
Or Master's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 2+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
Other science or engineering disciplines may be considered with relevant chemical manufacturing experience
Strong understanding of statistical methods, including DOE, control charts, Gage R&R, and ANOVA
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred
Experience using statistical software such as JMP or Minitab
Knowledge of semiconductor and advanced packaging manufacturing processes
Experience working directly with external suppliers and conducting audits
