Responsibilities
Designing, implementing, and testing control systems for precision machinery
Troubleshooting and resolving control system issues
Programming motion control and robotics solutions
Integrating systems to ensure optimal machine performance
Collaboration with cross-functional teams
Adherence to industry standards
Qualification
Required
Proficient of machine controls standards especially with Siemens Step 7 is preferred
In depth knowledge and experience in writing and programming ladder logic and HMI screens with Siemens technology
Robot programming experience (Fanuc robots preferred, Nacho robots a plus)
Understanding of controls components as they apply to mechanical designs
Knowledge of AutoCAD/E-Plan design software preferred
Expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues through Troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Ability to travel as necessary to assist Service personnel
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
Experience in the manufacturing or precision engineering industry is a plus
