GRAPHIC DESIGN COORDINATOR

OCHIN, Inc. is a nonprofit leader in health care innovation, seeking a Graphic Design Coordinator to support their marketing and communications efforts. This entry-level role involves creating and editing content across various media channels to enhance OCHIN's mission and engage audiences effectively.

Responsibilities

Develop and support marketing and communications strategies by coordinating content, managing internal and external communications, and ensuring alignment with OCHIN’s brand and voice
Create, review, and edit a wide range of written and visual content, including websites, newsletters, social media, blogs, proposals, and presentations, ensuring clarity, consistency, and audience focus
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, product owners, and subject matter experts to support campaign development, program materials, and content distribution
Manage and support OCHIN’s digital and social media engagement, including social care, analytics, and website content updates
Provide project coordination and documentation support for communications and marketing activities
Research and apply best practices to improve communication processes and ensure delivery of high-quality content
Other duties as assigned

Required

A selection of 4-5 samples of work or an online portfolio is required for this role
Minimum one year of professional experience in a graphic design or digital design role, with preference for 3-5 years experience
Experience in the following software programs required: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft O365 (particularly designing in Word and PowerPoint)
Prior to moving forward to the team interview, all candidates are required to complete a 50–60-minute competency assessment
Constant interpersonal skills, teamwork, and customer service
Reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English at a professional level
Ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office environment
High Speed Internet Service
It is a requirement that employees work in a distraction free workplace

Preferred

Experience designing in health care or technology spaces highly preferred
Experience in a production design setting preferred
Experience in the following software programs preferred: WordPress or other content management system, MailChimp or other email marketing software, AirTable
