Responsibilities
Overseeing the transport of production components and assemblies between the U.S. and Mexico
Managing the entire lifecycle of international shipments, ensuring strict adherence to U.S. and Mexican import/export regulations, including the USMCA
Resolving scheduling discrepancies
Analyzing production specifications
Communicating effectively with various departments to ensure timely and compliant deliveries
Preparing essential documentation
Coordinating logistics
Maintaining optimal inventory levels through MRP systems
Supporting R&D initiatives
Identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
seven to ten years of progressive experience in production planning, materials management, or a related field within aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments
Advanced knowledge of U.S. and Mexican import/export regulations, including the USMCA and IMMEX
Proficiency in WDS Manufacturing software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong analytical skills for evaluating production specifications and logistics costs
Attention to detail for maintaining documentation accuracy in audit-sensitive situations
Effective communication abilities for coordinating with cross-functional teams
Understanding of cross-border material flows and customs compliance
Experience with MRP/ERP systems
Continuous improvement mindset
