Sr. Engineering Services Manager
American Workforce Solutions is seeking a Sr. Engineering Services Manager to lead and manage teams responsible for critical business systems and applications. The role focuses on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and ensuring the systems operate efficiently to support the corporate mission.

Responsibilities
Lead the Engineering Services organization, overseeing teams across web development, Salesforce, NetSuite, and technical writing
Establish and maintain best practices for system design, integration, and documentation
Partner with stakeholders across engineering, sales, finance, and customer care to understand strategy and business requirements and deliver technical solutions that meet operational needs
Drive improvements in system reliability, scalability, and performance
Develop and maintain standards for internal and external documentation that supports product and operational excellence
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations across multiple functional areas
Foster collaboration, innovation, and a culture of accountability and continuous learning
Mentor and develop team members, providing technical and professional growth opportunities
Stay informed about emerging technologies relevant to web development, Salesforce/NetSuite systems, and documentation practices
Lead vendor relationships and evaluate third-party solutions that support the operational ecosystem
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
10+ years' experience working in software engineering teams
5+ years of experience in leadership or management of software engineering teams
Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams
Understanding of web technologies and frameworks (JavaScript, Node.js, React, or similar)
Familiarity with REST APIs, data integration, and automation between enterprise systems
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects from concept through delivery
Experience with Agile methodologies and modern development practices
Respectful and outstanding leadership skills that motivate colleagues to focus their energy on achieving business goals
Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and tactical operational levels. Works to achieve goals while overcoming obstacles and/or planning for contingencies
Strong analytical, planning, and budgeting skills. Ability to influence others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment
Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality
Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel (up to 25%); will include some overnight travel
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Salesforce and/or NetSuite platforms preferred, including customization, integration, and administration
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred
