Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and debug complex software systems
Develop/ support ETL processes to support claims and payer data workflows
Build and maintain backend services, API integrations (REST/SOAP), and database‑driven applications
Apply advanced Microsoft SQL Server skills (T‑SQL, SSIS, SSRS) for data modeling, ETL development, and performance tuning
Optimize SQL queries and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and scalability
Analyze, interpret, and process healthcare payer data, including claims, enrollment, and provider information
Support Pay‑for‑Performance (P4P), value‑based care, and other payer incentive programs
Conduct in‑depth analysis of existing systems to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, reliability, and security
Recommend and implement enhancements to support evolving business needs
Lead technical components of projects and collaborate with cross‑functional teams
Provide guidance to junior analysts and conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards and best practices
Qualification
Required
Typically 3–5+ years of full‑time experience in programming and systems analysis
Bachelor's Degree
Senior‑level proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server (T‑SQL, SSIS, SSRS)
Strong programming skills in C#/.NET
Solid understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data security standards
Preferred
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Experience with ETL development, API integrations, and data‑driven application design
Familiarity with CMMC or SSPs
Experience in health plan, public health, or insurance environments
