Engineering Project Supervisor
Corning Incorporated is a leading innovator in glass, ceramic, and materials science. They are seeking an Engineering Project Supervisor to perform project duties including data collection, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to support operations and engineering efforts.

Responsibilities
Lead project administration for capital and plant-prioritized projects
Assist with capital planning and AR writing
Implement and execute OEE and MTTF/MTTR metrics
Provide inputs to project plans, identifying resources and timelines
Update the capital portfolio in Planview and present monthly status updates
Navigate Corning Capricorn processes for large capital projects
Write and update SOPs related to job functions
Track and lead cost-saving goals and activities
Provide direction and support to team members working on capital and prioritized projects. Ensure that each member understands their role, responsibilities, and deadlines
Offer guidance and mentorship to team members, especially in areas such as project management, Lean methodologies, and process improvement tools

Track and lead cost-saving goals and activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or strong Math/Science background
Understanding and use of ERP tools and software
Familiarity with optical and metal fabrication tools
Ability to multi-task and prioritize a diverse workload
Project management skills
Preferred
Knowledge of Lean Fundamentals (Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification preferred)
Experience with PEx (Process Excellence) tools
Capital management expertise
ERP software experience
