Part Time Accountant

Responsibilities
Own end-to-end accounting operations using QuickBooks
Manage AP/AR, invoicing, collections, and vendor payments in QuickBooks
Maintain general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close
Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Develop budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
Perform financial analysis and variance reporting
Oversee 401(k) processing and coordinate with payroll/benefits providers
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Support year-end close, audits, and tax preparation
Manage state registrations
Identify and implement process improvements and system efficiencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & CPA Required
Minimum of 6+ years of related Accounting experience
Extensive hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Online and Desktop)
Strong background in AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting
Experience with forecasting and cash-flow analysis
Experience supporting small to mid-sized organizations doing business in multiple states
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
