Start in 2026 SummerTesla is seeking a Technical Program Manager intern for the summer of 2026. The role involves assisting in project management tasks such as driving design decisions, consolidating inputs for executive reviews, and developing processes to improve efficiency within vehicle development teams.

Responsibilities
Help drive and collect clear input to the project team on schedules, design, issues, and deliverables related to subsystem and vehicle development
Drive design decisions or issues to closure while getting alignment across stakeholders
Consolidate inputs from across Tesla into executive reviews highlighting risks and opportunities
Contribute in analytics to help drive engineering decision and create dashboards to monitor CM/Factory/Vehicle critical data
Coordination and tracking of running changes (ex. cost savings, field failures, etc.) for all MS/XM3/Y with design, manufacturing & service
Structuring, releasing, and owning engineering bill of material (BOM) for assigned vehicle components (ECOs)
Developing processes and workflows to improve efficiency
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field
Preferred
Prior program management experience or managing a team, such as FSAE, Hyperloop, etc
Desired to be proficient in Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence, and Git
Experience in leading teams, and proven ability to drive initiatives to conclusion
