Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and customization of the FINASTRA Summit platform
Configure and support Summit modules across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office
Design, develop, and enhance C++ components within the Summit framework
Develop and maintain scripts (Shell, Perl, Python, etc.) for automation, batch processing, and operational support
Customize Summit workflows, trade lifecycle processing, and business rules to meet functional requirements
Build and support interfaces and integrations with upstream and downstream systems
Perform system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes in Summit environments
Analyze and resolve complex production issues, providing L2/L3 support and root cause analysis
Collaborate closely with business users, analysts, and infrastructure teams to deliver stable solutions
Mentor junior developers and review code to ensure adherence to best practices
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and configuration guides
Customize and develop reports using Summit APIs, Blotter extension, and STP
Qualification
Required
12+ years of hands-on experience with FINASTRA Summit development and implementation
Summit Developer with extensive hands-on experience with the Finastra Summit product, including Report generation using Summit APIs, Blotter extension, Entity extension, and STP
Strong expertise in C++ programming within Summit environments
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, or Python
Extensive experience in Summit platform configuration and customization
Strong understanding of Summit architecture, data model, and trade lifecycle
Experience working on UNIX/Linux systems
Solid knowledge of capital markets and investment banking systems
Hands-on exposure to Front, Middle, and Back Office processes
Experience with system integration, interfaces, and batch processing
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
