Responsibilities
May advise on testable software builds, test data / environment / configuration / defect management, test asset control
Identifies testing risks both within and across projects and provides testing solutions / processes to mitigate the risks
Manages and directs activities related to analysis, design and support of technical business solutions on larger projects
Provides strong knowledge of QA methodology, best practices and processes while contributing to the direction for testing methods and tool selection
Qualification
Required
5-7+ Years of overall IT experience including QE/Testing
2-4+ years of experience in software automation testing web applications, and client/server applications
Banking experience a MUST
Ability to execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
Database SQL queries experience
Strong background with creating automation test plans and improving test automation strategies
Prior Experience with Functionality Testing
Positive/Negative Testing
API knowledge recommended
Understanding of reviewing XML's
Mainframe knowledge
Able to multitask and absorb multiple projects assigned
Experience with JIRA/JTMF - Log and track defects and communicate to teams for resolution
Experience with creating Test Cases, Defect Management, Test Execution and Test Data
Qualifications: BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
Preferred
Experience working with complex Client/Server applications would be a big plus
3-4+ TOSCA Automation Experience along with Test Architecture
Experience in Tricentis Tosca test automation (Custom Libraries and Cross-Platform Integration)
Experience with Stores/Branch Back-office Applications - Preferred
Prior Experience in Automation Tools (QTP, Selenium etc.)– Preferable
Experience with different development frameworks (e.g. MS .Net, ) – Preferable
Testing experience with applications across programming languages such as: .NET, Java, and Python
