The role involves owning and scaling paid media strategies across Google Ads, while ensuring campaigns are optimized with accurate tracking and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

Own day-to-day strategy, execution, and optimization across:
Paid Search
Shopping / Performance Max
YouTube
Display
Build and manage campaign structures, bidding strategies, keywords, audiences, and testing plans
Scale winning campaigns while consistently launching new tests across creative, targeting, and landing pages
Balance direct-response performance goals (CPA, ROAS) with long-term brand growth initiatives
Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate tracking through GA4 and GTM
Monitor and report on key performance metrics (ROAS, CPA, CTR, CVR, AOV, etc.)
Identify performance trends, optimization opportunities, and creative insights to share with the broader marketing team
Maintain performance dashboards and clear reporting to support weekly/monthly planning
Work closely with the paid media team and creative team to develop and request assets for:
YouTube ads
Search/Display creative
Performance Max asset testing
Provide creative direction based on what’s working (angles, offers, messaging, pain points)
Collaborate with external agencies on branding spend and strategy when needed
Support the team with basic SEO awareness and collaboration, including:
Keyword insights
Landing page alignment
Intent-based messaging
Partner with eCommerce/site teams to improve conversion paths and post-click performance

Required

5–7 years of hands-on Google Ads experience in eCommerce or direct-to-consumer marketing
Strong knowledge of Search, Shopping/PMax, Display, and YouTube advertising
Experience working with GA4 and Google Tag Manager and understanding attribution fundamentals
Analytical mindset: confident interpreting data and making decisions based on performance
Ability to move quickly, manage multiple priorities, and execute consistently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating across teams (creative, eComm, marketing leadership)

Preferred

Experience advertising on other platforms (Meta, TikTok, Amazon, Bing, etc.)
Familiarity with CRO, landing page testing, and funnel optimization
Experience working with an agency or managing branding initiatives
Interest in fitness, wellness, sports nutrition, and lifestyle brands
