Responsibilities
Programming and working directly with 3-, 5-, and 7-axis CNC routers
Taking engineered drawings and CAD models and turning them into clean, efficient programs using Mastercam, Cabinet Vision, and occasionally PowerMill
Creating clear run sheets, keeping files organized, and working closely with other departments to keep projects moving
Following established CNC standards, maintaining equipment, and helping keep CNC areas clean, organized, and running smoothly
Qualification
Required
Experience programming and working directly with 3-, 5-, and 7-axis CNC routers
Ability to program using Mastercam
Understanding of CAD and CNC programming best practices like nesting, tooling choices, and efficient workflows
Solid understanding of materials like plywoods, hardwoods, MDF, plastics, and similar substrates
General fabrication knowledge
Organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable working independently
Good at troubleshooting when things don't go as planned
Open to forklift training and certification
Comfortable working in both an air-conditioned office and an active shop environment
Preferred
Experience with PowerMill or PowerMill Robot
Experience with 5-axis or 7-axis robotic systems like Royce or Kuka
Experience running an Amada press brake or Kern laser
