Responsibilities
Participating in community engagement & recruiting new volunteers and/or fosters
Ensuring a smooth workflow for volunteer and/or foster onboarding
Communicating with prospective and current volunteers and/or fosters
Maintaining various databases
Managing general email boxes and responding to messages in a timely manner
Preparing and analyzing reporting
Providing training guidance for new volunteers and/or fosters
Preparing for foster and/or volunteer appointments
Qualification
Required
Passion for animals and belief in our mission to create a No Kill Chicago
Excellent written and verbal communications, with the ability to represent the mission, goals, policies, and core values of PAWS Chicago in a sincere and energetic manner
Ability to adapt, work collaboratively with a team, and solve problems proactively
Organizational skills
Commitment to a high level of customer service
Basic computer skills, including e-mail and Microsoft Office
A genuine interest in, and desire to learn more about animal welfare and the No Kill movement
