Responsibilities

Develop and execute system-level test plans, including validation and verification of embedded hardware and software components
Design and implement automated test frameworks and scripts for engineering and production environments
Create and maintain Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) based on product and customer specifications
Analyze system requirements (hardware, firmware, software, algorithms) to define comprehensive test coverage
Identify, isolate, and troubleshoot system integration issues across multiple domains
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and execute real-world test scenarios and use cases
Set up and maintain accurate, repeatable, and standards-compliant test environments
Support new product introduction (NPI) efforts through qualification testing and test documentation
Test and validate thermal imaging and optical systems, including sensor integration, video output, and performance across temperatures

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded system development and system-level testing
Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python, particularly for test automation
Proficiency with embedded interfaces and protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and USB
Familiarity with embedded development workflows and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
Experience using lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, etc.) for debugging and validation
Demonstrated ability to design and execute test strategies for integrated hardware/software systems
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and tools, including experience using Bitbucket Pipelines or similar systems
Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving in complex systems
