Sr. Business Architecture Manager

American Workforce Solutions is seeking a Sr. Business Architecture Manager who will manage a team while also contributing to solution design and architecture deliverables. The role involves shaping business capability roadmaps and ensuring alignment between strategy and execution, with a focus on integrating intelligent automation and AI innovation into business workflows.

Responsibilities

Lead key analysis and optimization efforts to define current/future states and enhance efficiency and customer experience
Manage, coach, and develop a team of Business / Process Architects
Assign priorities, review of deliverables, and ensure architectural quality, consistency, and strategic alignment
Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects to integrate business architecture into enterprise-wide strategies
Create and maintain business architecture artifacts such as capability maps, value stream design, process modeling, and operating models
Partner with solutions and technical architects to ensure seamless integration between business and technology solutions
Identify and eliminate redundancies to streamline processes and improve cross-domain efficiency
Architect and orchestrate business capabilities that integrate intelligent automation, generative AI, and decision intelligence to optimize end-to-end business workflows
Define target state architectures that fuse business process models with cognitive and autonomous system layers, ensuring alignment between enterprise strategy and AI innovation
Translate business strategy into actionable capabilities and operating models
Align architecture initiatives with enterprise transformation and digital modernization goals
Partner with business leaders to ensure architecture initiatives support measurable business outcomes such as revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency
Engage stakeholders through workshops and presentations to drive alignment and adoption
Support change management by ensuring stakeholders understand, embrace, and adopt target operating models
Clearly communicate architectural insights, trade-offs, and recommendations in business-friendly terms
Promote innovation by evaluating emerging trends and recommend pilot initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational performance
Partnering with data and digital teams to ensure business architecture supports analytics, AI/ML, and integration strategies

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Masters preferred
7+ years in business/enterprise architecture roles with strong delivery experience. 10+ years preferred
3+ years managing or leading architects/architecture teams
Proficient in flowcharting, diagraming & process flows using tools such as Lucid, Nintex & Visio
Strong capability in business architecture methods – capability maps, process flows, value streams, operating models
Proven expertise in business architecture and intelligent automation, including hands-on experience with BPM, process mining, robotic process automation (RPA), and AI/ML-driven workflow orchestration
Strong understanding of Agentic AI concepts and ecosystems, including autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, AI orchestration frameworks, and real-world use cases in enterprise operations
Proven ability to be hands-on in capturing and formalizing business capabilities, conducting business impact analysis and capability assessments/modeling, and defining solutions
Experience in applying capability-based planning methods and practices within a large organization
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Respectful and outstanding leadership skills that motivate colleagues to focus their energy on achieving business goals
Strong analytical, planning, and budgeting skills. Ability to influence others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality, results-driven, team-oriented environment

Preferred

Industry experience in telecom, call centers, or customer engagement platforms
TOGAF, BIZBOK, or other relevant architecture certifications
Understanding modern cloud, data, and integration strategies
Experience designing AI-enabled operating models
Experience with Telecom/Call Platform, CRM (Salesforce or similar), ERP architecture
Relevant certifications (CBA, BAP, TOGAF, etc.) are desirable
