Financial Aid Advisor 1, Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships
The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking four Financial Aid Advisors to join the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships. The role involves providing advising and counseling to students and parents on financial aid programs, eligibility, and budgeting while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.

Responsibilities
Provide advising and counseling to a diverse student and parent population on financial aid programs, eligibility, budgeting, financial planning, and academic progress while delivering excellent customer service
Review financial aid applications, packaging and administering aid, and monitoring student eligibility in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations
Support specialized areas such as Federal Work-Study, financial literacy, loan management, outreach, professional judgment, verification, scholarships, or special programs
Collaborate with office leadership to support the unit’s mission
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR
Master's Degree and one (1) year of related work experience
Related Experience: Education, business, technology, social services, customer service or related experience
