B2B Sales Account Executive
Star Managed Services is a Houston-based Managed Services Provider seeking a highly driven B2B Sales Account Executive to generate new revenue and expand their managed IT services portfolio. The role involves pipeline development, prospect qualification, and converting opportunities into long-term managed services clients through outbound sales and lead generation initiatives.

Responsibilities
Drive new business growth through outbound sales and lead generation initiatives
Execute high-volume cold calling, email, and social outreach to build pipeline
Qualify, nurture, and close prospects across the full B2B sales cycle
Identify client needs and position managed IT and technology solutions accordingly
Partner with marketing and sales teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates
Lead discovery calls, presentations, and demos to advance opportunities
Track sales activity and performance metrics to optimize outreach strategies
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction
Continuously refine sales processes to increase efficiency and scalability
Represent Star Managed Services at industry events and client meetings
Stay current on technology trends, competitors, and MSP offerings to support consultative selling
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of experience in cold calling, appointment setting, or lead generation
Strong communication and persuasion skills with a confident phone presence
Proven ability to meet or exceed activity-based KPIs (calls, emails, meetings set)
Resilient attitude and comfort with rejection in a fast-paced sales environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Self-motivated with a growth mindset and desire to advance within a sales organization
Preferred
Prior MSP or technology sales experience is a plus
B2B preferred
