This role involves managing operations and staff, ensuring compliance with the Library of Congress contract, and overseeing inventory management while serving as the primary liaison to the National Library Service.

Responsibilities
Manage the operations and staff of the MSCW
Ensure that work is conducted in accordance with the NLS contract
Oversee inventory management, maintain accurate data and statistics
Submit all reports by the established deadline, in the proscribed format
Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism during interactions with others
Participate in national and regional conferences, including conducting presentations when requested
Qualification
Required
Experience managing staff and operations in a dynamic environment
Organizational skills, managing the work flows and assignments performed by subordinates
Excellent communication skills, as well as tact and diplomacy
Knowledge of inventory management, as practiced in a warehouse environment
Experience with warehouse management
Work as a contributing team member, with a team based concept of work
The ability to use a computer and Office suite for reports
The ability to adapt to and embrace new ideas and technology
Experience complying with all applicable agency policies and procedures, including safety, standards of conduct, and dress code
Preferred
A bachelor's degree
A forklift certification
