AIRWorks Mid-Level Program Analyst/Scheduler

Responsibilities

Candidate will develop, maintain, and manage the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in accordance with DoD, NAVAIR/ AIRWorks, and contractual requirements
Ensure schedule integrity through proper logic, sequencing, and resource loading to accurately reflect program scope, technical dependencies, and execution strategy
Coordinate with Program Managers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Logistics, Test & Evaluation, and other functional stakeholders to collect, validate, and integrate schedule inputs
Conduct schedule risk and critical path analysis to identify potential impacts to program milestones, aircraft availability, test events, and delivery commitments
Monitor schedule performance, assess variance, and analyze impacts resulting from technical changes, funding adjustments, and program risks
Prepare and support schedule products and briefings for Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), milestone reviews, and senior leadership briefings
Ensure compliance with NAVAIR/ AIRWorks scheduling policies and contractual data item descriptions (DIDs)
Support configuration management and baseline change control processes, including schedule impact assessments and documentation
Provide schedule metrics, forecasts, and visualizations to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation
Identify schedule risks and collaborate with the Risk Management Board to support mitigation strategies and recovery planning
Maintain schedule documentation, assumptions, and data integrity to ensure audit readiness and traceability
Proficient in Microsoft Project (MS Project), including task creation, dependency management, and critical path analysis
Develop and maintain the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using approved scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project)
Decompose program scope into discrete, measurable schedule activities aligned with the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Statement of Work (SOW)
Establish logical relationships, constraints, and dependencies in accordance with scheduling best practices
Baseline and control of the IMS in accordance with approved change management processes
Collect schedule inputs from Program Managers, IPT Leads, Engineering, Logistics, Test, and Contracting personnel
Facilitate schedule integration meetings to validate activity sequencing, durations, and milestone alignment
Ensure alignment between contractor schedules, government schedules, and external dependencies
Perform critical path, near-critical path, and total float analysis to identify schedule drivers
Analyze schedule variance and forecast impacts to key milestones, test events, and delivery dates
Conduct what-if and impact assessments for proposed changes, risks, and funding adjustments
Identify schedule risks and document them in the program risk register
Support schedule risk assessments (SRAs) and collaborate with the Risk Management Board
Develop and track schedule mitigation and recovery plans for at-risk milestones
Prepare schedule products, metrics, and narratives for Program Management Reviews (PMRs), milestone reviews, and leadership briefings
Develop schedule visualizations, milestone charts, and IMS extracts for internal and external stakeholders
Respond to data calls and audit requests related to schedule status and performance
Ensure schedule products comply with NAVAIR/ AIRWorks policy, contractual DIDs, and program-specific requirements
Maintain schedule configuration control, documenting baseline changes, assumptions, and approvals
Support audit readiness by ensuring schedule data accuracy, traceability, and documentation
Perform periodic schedule health checks and quality reviews
Identify process improvements to enhance schedule accuracy, efficiency, and usability
Maintain schedule documentation, lessons learned, and best practices for future planning efforts

A Journeyman level person within a labor category has 3 to 10 years of experience related to the functional duties for that labor category and a BA/BS degree
Six (6) years additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree
Associate's Degree plus four (4) years additional relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree

Familiarity with NAVAIR SETR events
Ability to communicate and adapt well in dynamic team environments
Good organizational skills
