Project Scheduler
MIGSO-PCUBED is a global management consulting firm focused on delivering project management services. They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to ensure project timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively managed to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities
Schedule Development & Management: Create, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Smartsheet, Primavera P6, MS Project)
Project Monitoring: Track project progress against established baselines, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions
Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular status reports, including progress, forecast, and resource utilization
Cost Controls: Assist in budget tracking, cost variance analysis, and forecasting to ensure financial objectives are met
Risk Analysis: Identify potential risks to project schedules and recommend mitigation strategies
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure alignment and communication of project goals
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project changes, schedule updates, and related documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
10-15 years of experience in project scheduling and/or project controls
Proficiency with scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills and the ability to present complex information clearly
Experience in industries such as construction, engineering, energy, or infrastructure projects
Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
Working knowledge of cost control software or tools
Preferred
Certification in project management (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP) or scheduling (e.g., PSP) is a plus
Nice to have: experience working on offshore projects
