Responsibilities

Lead Saltbox's paid acquisition strategy across Google, Meta, and emerging channels (Reddit, YouTube, influencer, etc.)
Manage media agencies and vendors, optimizing for CAC, LTV, and ROI
Build dynamic segmentation strategies using 1P data, lookalikes, and intent signals
Rapidly test creative variations, audience cohorts, and messaging to increase efficiency
Lead Saltbox's exploration and implementation of AI in growth marketing workflows
Use generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jasper) to 10x content production for landing pages, outbound email copy, ad creative, and localized campaigns
Implement and iterate on AI SDR and outbound tools (e.g., Smartlead, Instantly, Clay, PhantomBuster) to unlock scalable prospecting and lead nurturing
Build or collaborate on lightweight automation workflows for campaign personalization at scale
Continuously scan the landscape for new AI and martech innovations, quickly testing and adopting tools that give Saltbox a competitive edge
Own CRO strategy across our website and landing pages—using heatmaps, analytics, and AI-driven testing platforms
Personalize site experience using geo-data, UTM segmentation, and firmographics
Design and run A/B tests across key conversion points: demo forms, CTAs, creative formats, etc
Partner with Demand Gen to optimize lifecycle nurture journeys across email, SMS, and in-product touchpoints
Lead outbound growth motions through AI-assisted research and targeting, in collaboration with RevOps and Sales
Build influencer, referral, and affiliate strategies that extend reach in key local markets and niches
Build and own a structured experimentation roadmap—prioritizing high-impact tests across SEO, outbound, social, lifecycle, and referral
Develop a clear learning agenda, structured reporting, and agile test-and-learn systems
Collaborate with Community and Field Marketing to support local activation and city-by-city GTM strategies
Optimize channel mix by geography—leveraging local insights to tailor messaging and targeting
Partner with Growth Ops to build actionable dashboards for CAC, LTV, funnel performance, and campaign ROI
Drive martech innovation, including AI integrations and automation tools that streamline operations and unlock scale
Mentor and develop junior growth marketers or agency partners
Partner cross-functionally with content, demand gen, community, product, and sales
Operate both strategically and tactically—balancing vision-setting with day-to-day ownership of campaign execution

Required

6–10 years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, product marketing, product management or demand generation
Proven success scaling paid acquisition programs (Google, Meta) and optimizing website performance
Deep familiarity with AI tools for marketing workflows (e.g., ChatGPT, Smartlead, Jasper, Clay, Browse AI, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, Notion AI, etc.)
Experience building outbound motions using AI-powered GTM tools (Smartlead, Instantly, PhantomBuster, Clay, LinkedIn outreach automations)
Proficiency in lifecycle/email marketing and lead nurture programs (Hubspot or similar platforms)
Track record of building and running multi-channel growth experiments with clear measurement and iteration
Comfortable balancing short-term wins with long-term growth infrastructure
Highly analytical and data-driven—can build dashboards, track metrics, and use data to guide decisions
Excited to be hands-on with campaign execution, tools, and testing
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to move fast, learn quickly, and think creatively

Preferred

SEO, influencer marketing, or affiliate program experience
Localized marketing or experience supporting geo-targeted campaigns
Experience with warehouse, logistics, or real estate-adjacent brands
Comfortable working in high-growth, early-stage, or startup environments
