Optomi is partnering with a well-established national insurance carrier to hire a Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) for a hybrid contract role supporting a core Pega-based policy administration and underwriting platform. The role involves providing technical and architectural leadership across multiple delivery teams while blending hands-on development with leadership responsibilities.

Lead Pega application architecture and technical design
Own feature-level solution design and architectural decisions
Perform code and design reviews across multiple teams
Mentor and support developers across distributed teams
Translate business requirements into scalable Pega solutions
Ensure adherence to best practices, performance standards, and platform guidelines
Maintain hands-on involvement to stay current with platform capabilities
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience with Pega platform development and architecture
Experience operating in a Lead System Architect or equivalent senior technical role
Strong understanding of scalable design patterns and reusable solution architecture
Proven ability to lead code reviews and guide engineers with varying experience levels
Ability to work effectively with strong business stakeholders and product owners
Preferred
Pega LSA certification is desired but not required
