Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of complex civil litigation matters from inception through resolution via trial, dismissal, or settlement
Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents
Argue motions and other case dispositions in Court
Participate in client meetings, prepare case analysis reports, and provide effective and strategic legal advice to our clients
Conduct and manage all phases of discovery, including depositions, examinations, expert identification, retention, and preparation, and witness preparation
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
5+ years of experience in civil defense litigation - salary commensurate with experience
Admitted to practice law in Florida
Superior analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong written and oral communication skills
Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism

Civil trial verdicts preferred
