Qualification
Required
Back End & APIs - Java, RESTful APIs, Secure server-side development
Cloud / DevOps / Containers - Docker, Linux (RHEL), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab), Kubernetes concepts (Helm, GitOps tools like Argo CD/Flux), Logging & observability (ELK/EFK), Secrets management & deployment strategies
Front End / Modernization - React, Angular, Angular - React migration concepts, State management, UI frameworks
Testing & Quality - Unit and integration testing, Automated testing tools (Jest, Cypress, Selenium)

Public Trust, Secret, TS and TS/SCI Security Clearance preferred
CompTIA Security+
Experience 1-3 years+
Preferred
A degree in Computer Science, IT, or something adjacent
You've poked around in the cloud AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
You've containerized something with Docker and know your way around Linux (RHEL gets bonus points)
Kubernetes, orchestration tools, or YAML files
DevOps, CICD, GitLab, or IaC
You've worked with databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB (big-data names like Hadoop, Accumulo are a plus)
You've built or tinkered with a front end using React, Angular, or Vue
You've played with search tools like Elasticsearch
Containerization & DevOps (Exposure - Mastery) - Helm, Kustomize, Kubernetes concepts (EKS, pods, CRDs), Service mesh basics (Istio), GitOps tools (Argo CD, Flux), Pod lifecycle management, Secrets management, Blue/Green deployment strategies, Backup & recovery tools (Velero), Security scanning tools (Trivy), Logging & observability (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Logstash, Kibana, EFK-ELK)
Code Modernization & Front-End Growth Areas - You might have experimented with some of these - Angular - React migration concepts, Converting Angular templates to JSX or SX, Translating Angular directives into React components, Migrating services to React hooks and context, Visualization libraries (D3.js, Recharts), Domain-Driven Design concepts, Object-Oriented Design fundamentals, Automated testing: React Testing Library, Jest
