Responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain the North America Total Compensation Strategy, Policy and directives along with methods and tools to support compensation management
Initiate and drive appropriate benchmarking to ensure that best practices are considered and adopted where appropriate
Responsible for competitive market analysis, overseeing salary survey selection, data collection and methods
Drive Total Rewards / Compensation/ HR / Benefits and other Analytics, Reporting Strategy
Regularly analyze complex data sets to interpret data, recognize patterns, and analyze trends to identify actionable insight and education to HR leadership team and applicable business leaders
Provide analytics and information to stakeholders to help address their business questions
Spearhead analytics projects and education of HR community on importance of analytics in making impactful, data-informed decisions
Continuously work on improvement of short- and long-term incentives and / or other company wide bonus programs
Responsible for the management and oversight of strategic compensation projects
Run internal network, task forces and workshops involving different stakeholders in the organization
Approve, monitor and provide management reporting on the US KPIs for the US
Responsible for audit and follow up on SDM compliance
Improve on a continuous basis the governance in the area of Compensation
Conduct regular follow up and audit of policies and procedures to secure quality and effectiveness
Resolve escalated issues of strategic or precedential nature
Support the development of Total Rewards Philosophy and Strategy in conjunction with Global Philosophy and strategy

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities
10-15 years of experience in corporate compensation with 5 years in a management position
5 years of experience supporting members of senior management
Deep knowledge of the principles and practices of employee compensation
Extensive experience with harmonizing compensation programs and organizational design change
Deep knowledge and experience with local, state, and federal laws related to compensation
Demonstrated deep knowledge and understanding of subject matter with extensive experience in development of policies and strategies within the area of compensation
Demonstrated deep knowledge and understanding of subject matter with extensive experience in development of analytics of various data sets for compensation, benefits and other requirements within the area of Total Rewards
Demonstrated deep knowledge and understanding of subject matter with extensive experience in development of reports and dashboards for any/all businesses, executives within the area of compensation
Proven ability to work with influencing skills in a matrix organization as well as external application of those skills for vendor negotiations
Overall understanding for processes, continuous improvement work and an ability and interest in identifying and championing new ideas for possible adoption by the US businesses
Able to lead a wide variety of professionals regardless of the experience level and specific expertise in achievement of established goals and objectives
Business acumen and accounting principles
Comfortably transition between big picture, strategic thinking, and execution
Demonstrated history of successfully owning and managing large, complex problems and engaging with cross-functional teams and numerous stakeholders
Bias for action, excellent attention to detail and relentless commitment to follow-through
Ability to convey ideas and recommendations in a clear, compelling and succinct way in written and verbal communications
Ability to earn trust and maintain key relationships with HR partners to avoid duplication of efforts and to drive engagement on key initiatives
Ability to analyze data and understand key metrics (demographics, attrition/ retention rates, talent pipelines, etc.) in order to develop insights, tell stories, drive decisions and measure the impact of the work you do
Develop a forward-looking Total Rewards approach including Compensation, EVP etc
Integrate and Partner closely with HR leaders / colleagues on compensation, analytics strategy and execution to recommend the best practices for a scaling business
Based on data and insights, develop and drive tactics to improve the overall experience
Provide rigorous data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs
Attend, and potentially facilitate, team and offsite meetings as needed
Act as project manager for major Total Rewards initiatives, integrating diversity of perspectives into design and delivery approaches
Occasional travel will be expected

Preferred

Master's Degree preferred
5 years of supervisory experience preferred
PHR/SPHR/GPHR designations a plus
