They are seeking a skilled Lead Network Refurbishment Technician to build and lead their network gear refurbishing capabilities, including testing and preparing networking devices for resale.

Responsibilities
Test Network Switches, Routers, Firewalls and respective components to ensure functionality before selling on the secondary market
Reset devices to factory default settings, clearing previous user configuration data, user accounts and passwords
Identify and assemble hardware, cables and software needed to build out test beds for testing devices
Capture and deploy missing operating systems to devices that require it via TFTP, USB, XMODEM, etc
Capture test results and specifications from terminal output and store logs for eCommerce sales teams to facilitate listing products for sale
Clean, package and kit network products for sale
Develop 'how to' guides and checklists for various models and publish to internal website
Develop training checklists to train new hire technicians
Develop process for refurbishing external chassis using paint booth
Qualification
Required
Strong Organizational Skills, Flexible, Adaptable and Task Oriented
Advanced knowledge of terminal utility (i.e. Putty, SSH, Telnet, MobaXterm, SecureCRT,)
Intermediate level Linux experience
4+ years processing network equipment in a production environment
4+ years computer hardware experience
Intermediate level experience with Juniper, Arista and Fortinet network devices
Experience testing ports: loopback, ping, POE, and speed/duplex settings
Experience using console recovery (ROMMON or Boot loader mode)
Basic skill level with automation using python or ansible
1+ year experience using ERP or WMS systems
Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
2+ years warehouse experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certificate
CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certificate
NSE 4 FortiGate Network Security Administration
JNCIA Juniper Networks Certification Program
ACE Associate - Arista certified engineer
Experience in programming language
Advanced network configurations
