Data Coordinator – (Full Time)
The Rowan Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual violence and providing prevention education throughout Lower Fairfield County. The Data Coordinator will manage the organization's data systems, ensuring accurate data collection and supporting outreach functions to enhance services for survivors.

Responsibilities
Serve as the organizational administrator for Bloomerang (development CRM) and EmpowerDB (client services database)
Develop and maintain data collection systems, forms, and workflows to ensure consistency across programs
Train staff on accurate data entry, reporting procedures, and quality assurance checks
Conduct routine audits to monitor accuracy, completeness, and compliance with funder requirements
Create and manage dashboards to track service delivery, outreach activities, donor engagement, and prevention education metrics
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendor support when needed
Implement and refine data collection practices across all programs, including crisis services, prevention education, advocacy, and the Trauma Recovery Practice
Pull regular reports for internal leadership, board meetings, annual reports, and grant reporting
Maintain clear documentation of data definitions, protocols, and reporting cycles
Track service trends, program participation, and client outcomes to support organizational strategy
Ensure data security and confidentiality in compliance with all Connecticut statutes and agency policies
Maintain outreach, partner, and stakeholder contact lists within Bloomerang
Support tracking of school partnerships, referral sources, law enforcement contacts, and community collaborators
Assist with generating mailing lists, donor communications, stewardship touchpoints, and event outreach
Coordinate data needed for newsletters, impact updates, grant applications, and donor reports
Support the team in capturing and recording outreach activities, presentations, and community events
Work collaboratively with leadership, educators, advocates, and counseling staff to ensure accurate reporting
Provide data insights to strengthen programs, identify trends, and highlight gaps in services
Assist the development team with donor analysis, segmentation, and campaign performance metrics
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and organizational events as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in data science, public health, social work, nonprofit management, psychology, or a related field—or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of data systems, CRMs, and database management
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
Ability to translate data into clear, user-friendly dashboards, graphs, and reports
Strong communication skills and the ability to train and support staff across departments
Comfort working in a trauma-informed, survivor-centered environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow strict data security protocols
Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Tech-savvy and eager to implement efficient systems and workflows
Preferred
Experience with Bloomerang or EmpowerDB
Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, data visualization tools, and reporting templates
Prior experience with data management, nonprofit CRMs, or program evaluation
Experience working in a nonprofit, social services, or advocacy setting
