Technical Services Manager (Engineering Manager)

Responsibilities
Implement all global and divisional technical standards, procedures, and documentation in daily operations
Document, maintain, and optimize local technical workflows, ensuring alignment with global/divisional standards
Monitor daily technical performance (efficiency, compliance, safety, quality) and lead immediate response to deviations from standards
Manages and develops the technical service team, ensuring the right competencies and effective people processes
Responsible for leading automation, maintenance, process, and digitalization initiatives for the residential production area
Participate in the deployment and validation of new technologies, processes, and digital tools
Conduct local self-audits, process reviews, and training for operators and staff
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for technical incidents or compliance gaps
Ensure timely and accurate input of local technical data into divisional and global reporting systems
Act as the key technical contact for local management, divisional Technical Service, and global Technical Service
Support local training and capability building in technical services and standards usage
Participating in the Divisional Technical Service Network with 20% of the time allocated to global activities. The Technical Service Network will be utilized to align standards and activities across global Technical Service, Divisional Technical Service and Factory Technical Service
Coordinates and collaborates with other departments (e.g., supply chain, safety, quality, production) to ensure smooth workflow and cross-functional alignment
Responsible for planning, preparing and maintaining annual budget and making sure their area is meeting goals and initiatives
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required
Minimum of five (5) years applied experience in managing employees in a manufacturing environment is required
Applied experience in managing and developing work teams, conflict resolution, and employee performance appraisals is required
Applied computer skills are a must
Proficiency Microsoft Excel, Power Point and ERP experience is required
Experience in preparation and working with expense/capital budgets and strategic planning is required
Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Asset Management System experience is required
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written and strong interpersonal skills are required
Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills
Must be able to work in a team environment with employees from various levels within the organization
The ability to operate in a matrix and networked organization while supporting divisional and functional alignment
Ability to perform the essential functions assigned to the position
Compliance with all rules of conduct, safety regulations and policies provided in Employee Handbooks, on Company bulletin boards/announcements, terms/conditions of employment or other means of communication is a requirement of the job

Experience managing engineers and maintenance technicians is preferred
