Responsibilities
Repair and maintain hotel buildings and equipment, ensuring everything is in optimal condition
Promptly address and resolve maintenance requests in guest rooms with a professional and courteous approach
Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative tasks in areas including mechanical systems, electrical work, painting, carpentry, and plumbing
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records of all tasks performed
Assist in managing emergencies to protect guests, team members, and property systems, adhering to all safety protocols
Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and properly stored
Interact with guests and colleagues in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
Follow established procedures for handling items left behind in guest rooms or public areas
Perform other tasks or projects as requested by management
Qualification
Required
2 years prior experience in maintenance, engineering, or a related field is preferred
Proficiency in general trades such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, or electrical work
Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work independently while managing time effectively
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certifications are a plus
