Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting
Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and professional growth
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies
Manage fixed assets, inventory accounting, and cost allocations as applicable to the business
Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate financial data and variance analysis
Maintain strong internal controls and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce risk
Assist with audit preparation and act as a key liaison with external auditors
Partner with cross-functional teams on financial analysis, project costing, and operational improvements
Lead or participate in special projects, including system upgrades, process optimization, and automation initiatives

Required

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities
Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control best practices
Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or product-based environment strongly preferred
Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
