The EHS Intern will learn about regulatory compliance in manufacturing, document compliance tasks, conduct waste evaluations, and interact with facility leadership and safety committees.

Responsibilities
Manufacturing facility visits and observations for completion of inventory updates including energy control, spill control equipment and in-process chemicals (Hazcom)
Documentation of regulatory compliance tasks specific to inventory updates
Develop presentations and present task findings to facility leadership
Map stormwater outfalls and drains
Prop 65 product evaluations
Obtain baseline sustainability data from key packaging suppliers
Interact with the Employee Driven safety Committee as a resource during monthly meetings and assigned tasks
Qualification
Required

Capability to conduct facility waste evaluations and life safety evaluations
Manufacturing facility visits and observations for completion of inventory updates including energy control, spill control equipment and in-process chemicals (Hazcom)
Ability to develop presentations and present task findings to facility leadership
Mapping stormwater outfalls and drains
Conducting Prop 65 product evaluations
Obtaining baseline sustainability data from key packaging suppliers
Interacting with the Employee Driven safety Committee as a resource during monthly meetings and assigned tasks
