Responsibilities

Lead a team of field service technicians, providing technical guidance and support
Oversee field service operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
Provide technical expertise and support for complex fire protection systems issues, both remotely and on-site
Fire Alarm System Installation, Testing & Commissioning: Install, configure, inspect, and test fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with specifications and safety codes
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve complex issues with fire alarm systems, including control panels, sensors, and devices
Fire Alarm Panel Programming: Program fire alarm control panels and associated software tools for optimal system performance
Understanding of Codes & Standards: Knowledge of NFPA and other fire safety regulations that govern system performance and compliance
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, configurations, and service actions

Qualification

Required

Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in field service engineering, with a focus on fire protection systems
NICET Certification (Fire Alarm Systems): At least NICET Level I or higher or willing to get one within 90 days
Valid Driver's License: Required due to travel between customer sites
Strong technical knowledge and expertise in fire alarm and life safety systems
Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
Experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry advancements
Results-oriented approach and ability to drive projects to successful completion
