The role offers students the opportunity to work on water and wastewater design and planning projects while gaining valuable experience under the mentorship of staff engineers and project managers.
Civil Engineering
Responsibilities
Participate in staff, public, and client meetings
Modeling of water delivery systems
Prepare simple hydraulic calculations and analysis
Assist in the research, planning, and design of water and wastewater infrastructure
Perform technical writing and assisting with development of technical reports
Conduct site visits
Coordinate with subconsultants and vendors
Data entry and analysis
Provide general program and construction management support
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in a full-time program seeking a B.S. or M.S. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, City and Regional Planning, Construction Management, or a Related Field
Candidates must be in good academic standing and proficient with MS Office and have Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Interview process includes review of current transcript (unofficial transcripts are sufficient)
Experience and high performance under the pressure of deadlines

Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred
Some prior experience with AutoCAD, ESRI (GIS) and/or Hydraulic Modeling Software
