Environment, Health, and Safety Generalist (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Conduct workplace hazard analyses/assessments, coordinating team involvement for the identification and implementation of corrective actions/controls to mitigate risks
Partner with the leadership team and line supervision to ensure the best EH&S practices and standard work are relentlessly driven across the site
Work on cross-functional projects that interface with other groups external to and within the core EH&S team
Oversee, review, update and implement the facility environmental, health and safety programs, permits, reports, training, and procedures
Drive the hazard risk assessment strategy, program evaluation, audits and other required EH&S initiatives
Conduct incident investigations and implement root cause corrective actions for injuries and near misses
Drive action plans to meet goals, to ensure compliance, and to improve customer service, employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts in EH&S operations

Required

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

Preferred

Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
Manufacturing experience
Education or experience in EH&S regulatory compliance, safety culture, and/or EH&S management systems
