Responsibilities
Gather, review, and manage all documents needed for personal injury matters, including medical records, medical bills, and liens
Maintainn update, and organize the case management system with all relevant documents, including all incoming and outgoing mail for the team
Arrange travel, schedule meetings, appointments, and depositions
Coordinate with outside vendors for events
Maintain office correspondence and administrative tasks, including but not limited to
Responding to emails and phone calls
Communication with opposing attorneys’ offices
Informing the team of deadlines
Collaborating with attorneys and paralegals to prepare various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, contracts, and briefs for a case
Proofreading documents
Other administrative tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
1 – 2 years of Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation experience
Knowledge of NJ and PA court filings
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite
HS Diploma required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Experience with legal software, litigation case management and docketing programs in NJ and PA
At least 1 – 2 years of previous experience in a law firm setting wherein the primary tasks included administrative tasks
Preferred
1 – 2 years of Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation experience preferred
Associate degree or role-specific training is preferred
