Responsibilities

Facilitate Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and manage approvals
Ensure adherence to ITIL-based change and release management processes
Maintain audit readiness and compliance with regulatory standards
Plan, schedule, and coordinate release activities across multiple environments
Maintain comprehensive release documentation, including rollback procedures
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for changes and releases
Own and manage the Confluence and Jira platform end-to-end, including migration from on-premises to cloud
Implement security and compliance checks within release workflows
Drive adoption of DevOps principles and release automation tools (e.g., Jenkins)
Identify process gaps and implement best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability
Track and report release KPIs (success rate, frequency, incident correlation) to leadership
Collaborate with development, SRE, and business teams to ensure smooth service transitions
Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
7+ years of experience in IT service management, release/change management, or DevSecOps
Expertise in Confluence and Jira Cloud, including migration from on-prem to cloud
Strong understanding of web and API technologies, microservices, containerization, and observability
Familiarity with ITIL processes and governance standards
Hands-on experience with release automation tools (Jenkins preferred)
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and container orchestration
Proficiency with release management tools (Jira, GitLab, Bit-Bucket, GitHub, Jenkins)
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrates a commitment to AI fluency by embracing AI tools and technologies to enhance individual and team performance, decision-making, and innovation

Preferred

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow or similar)
