Responsibilities
Adhere to all safety rules and policies
Visually inspect lineals for conformity to specifications
Interpret smart scope, promex, and bow machine results for dimensional conformity
Use all Quality appearance station forms and gauges to adhere to Quality Standards
Follow daily standard work
Stack profiles according to standard work
Properly wrap loads
Order raw materials
Adhere to line schedule
Complete production paperwork
May or may not operate a powered industrial truck (PIT) based on operations/department need
Support respectful workplace
Participate in appropriate training and development programs
Other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Adhere to all safety rules and policies
Visually inspect lineals for conformity to specifications
Interpret smart scope, promex, and bow machine results for dimensional conformity
Use all Quality appearance station forms and gauges to adhere to Quality Standards
Follow daily standard work
Stack profiles according to standard work
Properly wrap loads
Order raw materials
Adhere to line schedule
Complete production paperwork
Comply with Respectful Workplace policies and guidelines
Dependability/punctuality
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds
Ability to safely push and/or pull up to 70 pounds of force
Climb stairs/steps at will
Obtain a variety of positions such as stooping, reaching, twisting, etc
Ability to grasp and pinch frequently throughout the day
Work around and near moving equipment and machinery
Preferred
Extrusion Machine Operation Experience Not Required
Manufacturing, equipment maintenance, Lean operations experience helpful
Basic computer skills – keyboarding, Windows helpful
Willingness to be trained and learn extrusion
