Responsibilities
Supports OEMs transition to Model-Based Manufacturing & Inspection (MB-DMI)
Works with manufacturing sites to identify, assess, and prepare production equipment for model-based processes
Collaborates with MB-DMI teams and SMEs to evaluate solutions
Ensures systems are configured to support 3D model–driven workflows, including:
CNC programming
Tooling and work instruction development
Inspection programming & First Article Inspection
Process capability analysis and reporting
Physics-based modeling and MRB activities
Support digital transformation and deployment across manufacturing sites
Expertise in domains: Definition, Manufacturing, and Inspection
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver future-state solutions to improve cost, quality
Partner with SMEs, Chiefs, and Fellows across Manufacturing and Quality to:
Evaluate out-of-the-box vs. customized system solutions using data-driven metrics
Ensure new solutions integrate across the end-to-end digital manufacturing ecosystem
Drive automation and AI-based ROI opportunities in collaboration with Customer team
Connect digital threads across PLM, MES, and ERP systems for full enterprise integration
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 5–10 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years
Proven change management and core process leadership skills
7+ years in Design, Manufacturing, and/or Quality supporting model-based digital transformation
Experience with PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter) and CAD, BOMs, and lifecycle management
Strong background in complex manufacturing environments
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in MS Teams, JIRA, Smartsheet, or similar tools
Demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
Preferred
Experience with Cameo
Familiarity with MES (Solumina), PLM (Teamcenter), and ERP (SAP) systems
Experience with Model-Based Definition, Manufacturing, and Inspection (MBD/MBM/MBI)
Strong ability to influence without authority and drive accountability
U.S. Citizen: U.S. citizenship is required due to nature of job requirements
