1+ years expZymo Research is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Corporate Legal Associate. This role supports corporate governance, recordkeeping, and legal operations while providing the opportunity to grow into more complex responsibilities over 1–3 years under supervision and mentorship.

Responsibilities
Corporate Governance & Recordkeeping
Prepare and maintain corporate minutes, resolutions, and other official company records
Support annual meetings, board actions, and entity compliance filings
Draft, review, and edit legal agreements, including NDAs, consulting agreements, and commercial contracts, under supervision
Track contract renewals, expirations, and obligations
Assist with the administration of trusts, inter-company documentation, and corporate structure matters under guidance
Coordinate with common-ownership companies for consistency of recordkeeping
Work with the HR Director on employment-related agreements and compliance matters
Serve as liaison with outside legal counsel on more complex corporate, tax, or regulatory issues
Maintain calendars for key filing dates and compliance requirements in Nevada, California, and other jurisdictions
Support internal audits of corporate documents and reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or related field required
1–3 years' experience in corporate law, trusts, governance, or contracts (law firm or in-house)
Strong organizational and drafting skills, with keen attention to detail
Familiarity with LLC structures, corporate filings, and legal documentation
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proactive, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
J.D. or paralegal certification preferred
Exposure to trust administration or estate planning
Experience supporting multiple independent companies under common ownership
Strong communication skills for working with executives and external professionals
