Clearway Energy Group is leading the transition to a world powered by clean energy, and they are seeking a Forecasting & Analytics Intern to join their Data Analytics team. This role involves tackling real business challenges related to predicting revenue performance of renewable energy assets using various forecasting techniques and tools.

Responsibilities

Benchmark various time series forecasting tools (statistical, machine learning, and time series foundation models) on generation and weather data using Python

Evaluate the applicability of statistical process control (SPC) tools for early warning on performance issues at wind and solar sites

Develop interactive data apps, dashboards, and automate end-to-end data analysis and visualization

Assist in creating documentation for key datasets and tools

Present findings and recommendations to the team and leadership at the end of the internship

Python (required)

Familiarity with statistical analysis or machine learning concepts

Exposure to SQL or cloud-based data platforms

Interest in renewable energy or sustainability
