Responsibilities
Ensuring resources across S&MA are provided when and where needed to support Program success
Lead efforts to develop, communicate and implement the S&MA vision, strategy, goals and metrics to help meet business and program objectives
Daily interface with program leadership, Engineering, Safety and Quality organizations is required
Regular customer interface is required to assure all customer requirements are being met
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 8 years of professional experience – OR – Master's degree with 6 years of professional experience – OR – PhD with 4 years of professional experience
No clearance required to start
Prior Aerospace experience working with rocket motor design, manufacturing and/or quality
Strong working knowledge of Quality and Safety policies, procedures and processes
Ability to craft solutions to meet program unique requirements while maintaining compliance to AS9100
Must have proven experience in effectively prioritizing competing and demanding priorities to satisfy S&MA requirements
Strong organization, planning, execution and budget management skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with customers
Preferred
Advanced engineering degree
Previous quality engineering experience
Working knowledge of the MRB processes
Ability to get things done through formal and informal channels
Ability to get things done through others without directly supervising them
