Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements for a portfolio of managed properties
Perform month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Manage A/R and A/P related to property operations
Prepare CAM reconciliations and assist with annual budgets and forecasts
Work closely with property management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Maintain and update records in Yardi
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Support audits and respond to internal and external inquiries as needed
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Property Accountant within property management or real estate
Strong working knowledge of Yardi (required)
Solid understanding of GAAP and property accounting principles
Experience handling multiple properties simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and organizational skills
