They are seeking a Venue & Sales Manager to lead event management, sales, and community engagement at the Muellner Building, ensuring smooth operations and nurturing client relationships.

Responsibilities
Lead on-site execution for Muellner events - from setup and vendor coordination to teardown and post-event wrap-up
Keep the venue spotless, organized, and photo-ready for tours
Manage staff scheduling, event timelines, and client communication
Troubleshoot and problem-solve with professionalism and a smile
Oversee venue access, inventory, and safety standards
Work as the event lead at most Muellner events (with the opportunity to bartend and make extra money at less intensive events)
Plan and execute a calendar of events that support the community and our mission
Respond to inquiries, host tours, and close contracts for weddings, corporate events, nonprofit fundraisers, and private gatherings
Track leads and bookings using CRM tools/spreadsheets and reporting systems
Collaborate with Pour Inc. leadership to further develop bar packages, custom quotes, and add-on services
Build lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and community partners
Represent the Muellner Building at open houses, expos, and city events — and do it with genuine enthusiasm
Manage the venue calendar, contracts, and internal communications
Capture content and stories from events to support marketing efforts
Identify opportunities to streamline operations or enhance guest experience
Jump in to support Pour Inc. off-site events and bar activations as needed
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in hospitality, event management, or venue sales (venue or catering experience preferred)
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
You stay cool under pressure and thrive in fast-paced environments
Comfortable working evenings and weekends when events are in full swing
Proficient in Google Workspace, CRM tools, and POS/bar systems
Preferred
Familiar with bar operations, beverage trends, or city/nonprofit partnerships
