Responsibilities
Draft and implement comprehensive estate plans for high-net-worth individuals, including:
Revocable and irrevocable trusts
Trust and estate administration
Wills and related estate planning documents
Powers of attorney and healthcare directives
Advise clients on wealth transfer strategies, asset protection, and legacy planning
Collaborate with clients’ financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals
Assist with trust administration and post-death matters, as needed
Stay current on federal and state estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax laws
Qualification
Required
J.D. from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing in Illinois (or eligible for admission)
2+ years of experience in estate planning and/or trust administration
Strong drafting, analytical, and client-facing skills
